MINUTES OF THE HALTON HOLEGATE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON 11th November 2021.

1 Apologies for absence
Cllr Ms Oliver this absence was formally approved, by vote, having considered and accepted the reasons for absence

2 To sign as correct the Minutes from the Parish Council Meeting held on 9th September 2021.
Proposed Cllr Mrs. Holmes seconded Cllr Andrew & unanimously agreed.

4. Clerks Report
a) The Cooption notice remains on the Notice board, and website
b) The Clerk has written to the Primary School for an update on the parking issues, and the defibrillator – sent to Councillors before the meeting
c) The Clerk has written to Cllr Mrs. Bowkett for an update on Highway matters.

d) Spilsby Town Council has replied to the Parish Council enquiry concerning the Emergency Plan – response sent to Councillors before the meeting,
It was agreed that the clerk should write to Spilsby Town Council advising them of the contact details of Cllr Grant, and asking for a copy of the draft plan.
5. Correspondence received
a) E Mail from a resident concerning the footway from Station Road running between Halton House & Halton Manor
The Council have taken a look at the area and do not see a major issue, this item is to be carried over to the next meeting.
b) E mail from a resident concerning the footpaths between Halton Holegate & Spilsby. – see agenda item no 11.
6. Informative matters from LCC & ELDC Councillors
LCC not present but Cllr Bowkett had sent a report which was read out
ELDC Cllr Swanson spoke on the following - Climate consultation, leveling up, and funds for the A16 corridor.

The budget was presented by Cllr Sisson, after discussion, Cllr Sisson proposed Cllr Grant seconded and unanimously agree to set the Precept at £4185.00.

Chevron sign opposite Kandy on the B1195 – The Clerk is to chase this request
Dangerous footpath on B1195 from Beverley House to Spilsby
White lines from Beverley House through the Holgate missing - Cllr Bowkett
has advised that this will be completed before Christmas.
Fencing from the entry into Northorpe Road to the rectory collapsing.
No update available.
New Speed signs on the B1195 – positioning, and missing
notice to indicate new speed limit. No update available
