The Halton Holegate Parish Council aims to look after the village, and to be its ‘ears and eyes’ on the ground – a role of maintaining the safely and well-being of the parishioners. The Councillors all give their time voluntarily and receive no allowances or reward for their time and are not elected on a political platform.
The Parish Council meets on a bi-monthly basis, 7 times a year including the Annual General Meeting in May. All meetings start at 7.00, with a 15 minute public participation session within the meeting upon request whereby all parishioners are welcome to share information and thoughts.
