MINUTES OF THE HALTON HOLEGATE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 17th January 2019

2 To sign as correct the Minutes from the last meetings held on 8th November 2018
It was unanimously agreed that these Minutes should be signed
3 Declarations of Interest
None
It was agreed that agenda item 6 should be brought forward
4 Clerks Report
a) The Clerk has advertised the Councillor vacancy on the notice board and the web site -
no response received
It was agreed that Cllr Sisson would produce a poster for the notice bard inviting people to the
next meeting in the hope that they may be encouraged to stand for election
b) Request sent to LCC for sack of grit – No response received
The Clerk will chase
5 Correspondence received sent to Councillors before the meeting
a) LALC Training information sent to Councillors before the meeting
Discussed, it was proposed by Cllr Sisson seconded by Cllr Mrs Holmes, and
unanimously agreed that the Parish Council join the training at a cost of £75 this
year
b) Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside service – Facilities Guide
No changes required
6. Informative matters from LCC & ELDC Councillors
Cllr Swanson reminded everyone present that they needed to renew their green waste
subscription by the 22nd February
Cllr Swanson also informed those present that a new chief executive has been appointed –
Rob Barlow. Information was also given on the Travelers site, and the ELDC
proposed budget for 2019/20

It was proposed by Cllr Andrew, seconded by Cllr Sisson and unanimously agreed that these
payments should be made

Bank ACC £5977.95 Petty Cash £8.80

b) Budget & Precept – sent to Councillors before the meeting
There were no questions, Cllr Sissons recommended a 0% increase in the precept, and
proposed a precept of £3578.00 seconded by Cllr Ms Oliver and unanimously agreed

b) Cllr Grant will check and clean the footpath near the Church

Hollowgate, needs attention.
