MINUTES OF THE HALTON HOLEGATE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
HELD ON 5th SEPTEMBER 2019

1. Apologies for absence

These absences were formally approved, by vote, having
considered and accepted the reason for absence
2. To sign as correct the Minutes from the last meeting held on 11th July 2019
It was proposed by Cllr Mrs Holmes, seconded by Cllr Andrew and unanimously
agreed that the minutes should be signed

4. Clerks Report
a) The Co Option notice remains on the web site & notice board

b) The clerk has been in contact with Spilsby Town Council and advised them that Halton
Holegate wish to join them in the cluster for the emergency plan.
The Clerk will contact Spilsby Again
5. Correspondence received
a) ELDC – own & Country Planning Act – Paul Edwards Head of planning as acknowledged the
Parish Councils request and has confirmed that they will be in touch with further clarification
to the PC’s queries
Clerk will chase for a reply
6. Informative matters from LCC & ELDC Councilors
ELDC – there have been no meetings therefore there was nothing to report, Cllr Swanson
Advised that the Councillors grant is available again this year
LCC – Not in attendance – however an update was received, and sent to Councillors

It was proposed by Cllr Andrew, seconded by Cllr Grant and unanimously agreed that these

It was unanimously agreed to remove Cllrs Dawson & Clough from the mandate, and add

The Clerk is awaiting an e mail from Russell Crockford LCC Highways to arrange a visit
11. Emergency Plan
Lincolnshire County council require 2 mobile phone numbers for
Councillors who are willing to receive texts in the event of an emergency
Confirmed as the Chairman and Clerk
12. Corporate Strategy Workshops – Sent to Councilors before
the meeting
Cllr Sisson will attend if possible
13. LALC Committee Nomination Form – sent to Councillors before
the meeting

14. Councillors Feedback
Cllr Mrs Holmes gave feedback on the Councillors Training session she recently
Attended, in particular the arrangements for Planning between meetings
